Local Kingwood Middle Schools competed in a fun challenge to recycle the most cans and plastics bottles at school on November 13th. It was part of KKG-sponsored community activities to celebrate of America Recycles Day on Sunday November 15th.
We are proud of all the students (and their dedicated teachers) for recycling so well!
Three schools: Kingwood, Creekwood, and Riverwood Middle tossed their empty cans and plastic bottles in recycling bins sponsored by KKG.
Creekwood Middle School recycled the most and won the challenge. KKG was proud to donate money to each school’s student council in honor of the effort from all involved.

Now we know our local students and teachers will recycle well – if they have the opportunity to do so!
