Each year Kingwood puts tons of reusable materials into our local Atascocita Landfill. Landfills are limited. You can make a difference by increasing the practice of reduce, reuse, recycle in our community to preserve our beautiful livable forest, our waterways, and our planet.

We are a community non-profit, advocating and educating about recycling in the Kingwood Area for over 20 years.  We are looking for volunteers of all ages to join us to learn and to advocate for recycling.

Keep Kingwood Green will provide you with all you need from training to materials. Here are the volunteer opportunities:

• Speakers for area schools, clubs, businesses,School Boards, HOA’s and local officials
• Service hours for ROTC, NHS, NLC, Scouts, any organization that requires service hours
• Webmaster
• BOPA, twice a year at the Metro Park and Ride
