City says heavy rain forecast, no reschedule date yet for recycle event
We DO expect the National Drug Take Back Event to be held at the same location, however.

Location: Kingwood Park & Ride on West Lake Houston Parkway
DEA began hosting National Prescription Drug Take-Back events in 2010. At the previous nine Take-Back Day events, 2,411 tons of unwanted, unneeded or expired medications were surrendered for safe and proper disposal. The disposal service is free and anonymous for consumers, with no questions asked.
So gather together those pill bottles, expired cold and allergy medicines, and bring them down to the Kingwood Park n Ride this Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
This is a rare event - so be sure and tell your friends to come down there this Saturday!
