Reminder: Got Drugs?
National Drug and Medication Take Back this Saturday!
September 27, 2014 10AM to 2PM
Kingwood Metro Park and Ride Lot
The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day sponsored by the Houston Police Department and the US Drug Enforcement Agency aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Medications should not be disposed of by flushing down the drain or disposing in your trash. Each of these methods can lead to possible air and or water pollution.
There is no residency requirement and no questions or ID is necessary. Simply bring any unused medications and they will be responsibly disposed of by the DEA. Officers will also be available to answer any questions you may have. There is no charge for this program.
Please note the time is 10 AM to 2 PM
Got Drugs? Dispose of them properly this Saturday!
